Hoosier Hills Food Bank was founded in November 1982 in Bloomington, Indiana. A small group of volunteers in Bloomington recognized that food was going to waste, yet people were going hungry. HHFB has outgrown several warehouses since then and distributes over 4.5 million pounds of food annually. Through the years, volunteers and grassroots methods remain the core of HHFB’s support. |
